From the desk of the President:
As mother nature teases us with spring like weather our horses ever growing winter coats don't hide what is around the corner. Although VQHA doesn't sponsor any winter riding events, please know that we will be busily planning the upcoming years events. We welcome members to participate by joining a committee, helping with donations and sponsorships, looking at new locations for trail rides, educational opportunities, or anything that will support our members and their horses.
This year we are focusing on membership and fundraising. Why did you become a VQHA member? What do you want your club to offer you? Please be watching for a survey to answer questions such as these so we can better direct our marketing. If we don't know what you want how can we provide?
In closing, I challenge each member to recruit one new member. Maybe this person was a member in the past, or is a new horse owner. Memberships make great gifts for the quarter horse enthusiast.
