Welcome to the Vermont Quarter Horse Association website. We are dedicated to bringing together Quarter Horse enthusiasts from all over Vermont. Our members do everything from showing, dressage, and trail riding to barrel racing and team penning. We invite all horse people to check out our website, talk to our members, and join us at one of our events.
2011 Vermont Quarter Horse Associations Annual Membership Meeting and Awards Banquet is to be held on January 28th at Rosies Restaurant in Middlebury VT. Meeting will start at 11:00 Am and light refreshments will be served. The Awards Banquet will Begin at 1:00 pm. We will start with a Buffet style meal. Price - $15.00 for Adult, $7.50 for children 10 and under. Children 5 and under are free. following the meal will be the Awards. Please don't forget that this is a great time to renew your membership with VTQHA and to also nominate your horse for the 2012 show season.
OK, Start Your Show Prep and Mark Your Calendars! The Region 6, "Super Six" Show Circuit is schedule for July 17-22, 2012 at the Big E in West Springfield, Ma. We are offering a double judged split combined show on the 17'th and 18th and our Regional Championship Show with 2 sets of points added on July 18'th - 22'nd. That's 4 sets of points available across the circuit!!! We'll also be offering fixed fees which will include your stall, office fee, obstacle fee and unlimited class entries! The grounds will be open for move in on the 16'th. Stay tuned to R6AQHA.com for more details!
The American Quarter Horse Foundation Scholarship Application and guidelines are now available. The deadline for submitting an application is December 1, 2011. Please help spread the word to all our youth members so this wonderful opportunity doesn’t slip by!

Catherine Howland was the AQHA Reserve Youth All-Around on May 16th and the New York State Quarter Horse Club Youth Circuit Award winner for the weekend with her horse Gotta Be Him.
From Norm & Cathy Rice.... Our mare, "Skip the Teasin" presented us with a colt on February 2, 2009. He weighed 85 pounds at birth and at 2 months weighed 210 pounds. The sire was "Invest in My Pizzazz" who was a four-time world champion.
